What is the difference between knowledge, belief and opinion? What is the relationship between knowledge and culture? Who owns knowledge? What counts as good evidence for a claim?

These and many other questions were explored by our Year 12 IB Theory Of Knowledge students in their TOK Exhibition on Tuesday, June 27th, with each student linking one chosen question to three specific real-world objects. These objects ranged from family cookbooks to Old Swedish Runestones, Tesla self-driving cars to Shamanic drums. The images of their objects were displayed along with written explanations justifying their choices.

Year 11 students and teachers from throughout the school dropped by to quiz them on their exhibitions, and we hope that they came away from it reflective and inspired. Well done to all students on their excellent and energetic conversations today in the Exhibition space!
