A selection of Year 10 French students, accompanied by Mr Fouilleul and Mrs Furey, had a very productive cultural day trip to Nice yesterday on Sunday, May 8th.
The group explored the Chagall’s museum in the morning and enjoyed some delicious « spécialités niçoises » in the Old Town for lunch. Afterwards, they watched a very moving French film at the cinema (Ténor – currently in most cinemas and highly recommended to all). Saving perhaps the best for last, they then attended a well-known play at Théâtre de L’Alphabet, « Le Malade Imaginaire » by Molière, in which our very own student Elona (Year 10) plays one of the main characters, Angélique. We were all very impressed by her stunning performance and acting talents. Félicitations, Elona!
