The International School of Monaco is delighted to welcome Mr. Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), to ISM on Wednesday, April 12th. As ISM is an IB World School currently offering the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), this prestigious visit reflects our strong commitment to our vision of International Education with Distinction and, in particular, the International Baccalaureate philosophy. We are also honoured to be joined on this day by Ms. Isabelle Bonnal, Monaco’s Commissioner General in charge of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports.
This event will feature a selection of student performances, presentations, and a tour of the school. In addition, Mr. Heinonen will be giving a speech to the ISM community to share his thoughts on the future for international education, particularly in the context of the development of the International Baccalaureate programmes at ISM.
We look forward to celebrating the many aspects of the International Baccalaureate next Wednesday with Mr. Heinonen, Ms. Bonnal, our students, teachers, staff, senior leadership team, parents, PTA and Board members.
