Year 12 student works with children in India as NGO volunteer
The evening of Sunday January 9th saw the conclusion of FerMUN 2022, the annual Model United Nations conference hosted by the Lycée International de Ferney-Voltaire.
ISM students from Year 10 and 12 participated virtually in the debates as well as the chairing of committees, and our students were delegates within the World Health Organisation, International Labour Organisation, Human Rights Council and Security Council. Almost 40 schools from 17 countries were represented in the conference. Well done to all of our students who participated!
Our thoughts now turn to ISMMUN, our very own Model United Nations conference, which will take place on the 31st of January and 1st of February. The theme for this year’s conference is SDG 3 ‘good health and well being’. We welcome more students than ever before, with a total of 160 student delegates joining us from local and international schools. Good luck to all!
