On May 27th and 28th, 14 Upper Secondary students participated in the Adventurous Journey, an important component of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. 7 of our students are working towards their Bronze Level award, and 7 are working towards their Silver Level.

Students learned about necessary equipment and emergency procedures in the mountains, and they practiced their route planning and navigation skills using a map and compass. Trekking over a 2-day period, they covered over 22km from the village of Gorbio and climbed over 1100m on Day 1 alone! Well done to all!
