Year 12 student works with children in India as NGO volunteer
On March 14th, or perhaps more appropriately written as 3.14, the ISM Mathematics department held a Pi recital competition in celebration of World Pi Day!
Mila (Year 9, house: Baret) stole the show, recalling Pi to an astonishing accuracy of 42 decimal places. Arabella (Year 8, house: Shackleton) and Julia (Year 8, house: Baret) also put in an impressive performance recalling 30 and 26 decimal places, respectively. Well done to all students who participated, and thank you to all staff members who helped organise this event!
