Year 12 student works with children in India as NGO volunteer
This morning and this evening, the Director and the Director of Studies met with parents regarding the school’s entry into the consideration phase for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). We were delighted that so many parents were able to attend these important sessions, which form an integral part of the consultation process.
The Director covered the rationale for ISM introducing these programmes to become a 4-programme IB World Continuum School, in line with the ISM vision of International Education with Distinction, whilst the Director of Studies emphasised the important details of how the implementation of these programmes would be achieved.
This is the first stage of the consideration process, and there will be further opportunities for parental engagement that will be arranged later in the year. Thank you to all who attended; it was greatly appreciated!
