Year 12 student works with children in India as NGO volunteer
ISM was honoured to present the ‘Cultural Couture’ award at the Junk Kouture world final held at the Grimaldi Forum on February 22nd. As Founder and CEO of Junk Kouture, Mr Troy Armour said, “No-one ever changed the world by being the same as anyone else.” ISM is thrilled to collaborate with Junk Kouture to ensure a more sustainable future for our generations to come.
Prior to the final, ISM was also pleased to host the Junk Kouture ‘Creativity & Circularity Lab’ at ISM on February 21st, an event that welcomed over 120 students from around the world and included talks from Mr Brian Brault (Facilitator of the Masters in Leadership at MIT), Mr Jeff Hoffman (founder of Booking.com), and Mr Troy Armour (founder of Junk Kouture). The evening finished with the Lego Serious Play Lab, and interactive and collaborative experience for all participants.
ISM looks forward to further collaborations with Junk Kouture and its innovative platform that allows students to showcase their talent and creative skills in design, entrepreneurship and environmental awareness.
