ISM is delighted to celebrate and congratulate four students from the Year 13 graduating class who have already received conditional offers from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

St Andrews is the third-oldest university in the UK, with its foundation in 1413 predated only by Oxford and Cambridge. St Andrews also overtook Oxford and Cambridge at the top of the latest Guardian University Guide in the autumn of 2022, leading to the observation that Oxbridge is being replaced at the apex of UK universities by “Stoxbridge” with St Andrews joining Oxford and Cambridge.

Our Director, Mr Bryan, also a graduate of the University of St Andrews, stated “This is an astonishing achievement for our current graduating class to have so many offers from such a prestigious university at this early stage in the application cycle. This demonstrates that the University of St Andrews is very keen indeed to admit ISM students, who are aspiring to the absolute highest levels of academic potential.”

Many congratulations to Benedetta Ettorre and Natasha Newby, pictured here, and also to Luca Karkutli and Marianne Roy. We are extremely proud of all of you, your university counsellor and all your teachers who have supported you in any capacity!
