This afternoon, the Primary School’s Eco Club and the Secondary School’s Sustainability Club had the privilege of hosting Mr. David Gamba from the Société Monégasque d’Assainissement (SMA).

Mr Gamba introduced students to many environmental facts concerning Monaco’s focus areas: mobility, urbanism (energy), and waste management. He challenged students with a simple yet profound question, “Why do we sort waste?”, and the journey through local environmental facts revealed that sorting is key to reducing the greenhouse effect.

We are exploring potential collaborations with SMA, including improving recycling systems, awareness programs, partnerships with schools, and the possibility of visiting recycling plants. Stay tuned for updates on our sustainable initiatives!
