On Thursday, October 5th, the PTA and parent volunteers came together to hold the first Global Citizenship bake sale in collaboration with the Philanthropy Club!

The event a resounding success, embodying the spirit of community and collective effort. Students were equally excited to be actively involved in this event. In an effort to show teamwork, certain classes (2A, for example) and year groups (Year 3, for example) even gathered in groups to bake together for the event, in addition to many students baking goods themselves at home. What an excellent opportunity to develop collaboration skills while contributing to a worthy cause!

The bake sale’s proceeds will be channeled toward supporting the Croix Rouge in its earthquake disaster relief fund for Morocco and Libya, truly embodying the essence of global citizenship. This event served as a testament to the school’s dedication to nurturing young global citizens, who, with their compassion and generosity, are sure to make the world a better place.
