Year 12 student works with children in India as NGO volunteer
ISM’s PTA community was hard at work today to create some extra Christmas sparkle throughout the school.
After arranging for the delivery and distribution of a record 44 Christmas trees for classrooms and communal areas throughout the school, the PTA summoned their elves who magically arrived from all corners and swiftly set to work. Teamwork was the order of the day, and production lines were quickly created for utmost efficiency. One team glued pine cones onto wooden bases, whilst other teams packed up a variety of goodies into Santa bags. Communication was key, and all lists were carefully checked twice before the treats and gifts were packed away and sent to the distribution centre, all ready to surprise our students. When they were satisfied that their work was complete, the PTA elves tiptoed away, thankful that another job was ticked off their holiday list. Thank you to all of this year’s PTA elves for creating such wonderful Christmas spirit throughout ISM!
