PYP Visual Arts Teacher

The International School of Monaco is seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated and suitably qualified teacher for the post of PYP Visual Arts Teacher in the Primary School. Previous experience teaching Visual Arts is a requirement.

The candidate will have high expectations of student learning and behaviour and will join a caring and experienced team. The successful candidate will have:

  • experience teaching within the IB PYP framework (desirable), including planning transdisciplinary learning experiences

  • the ability to encourage curiosity, experimentation, and resilience through the artistic process
  • a reflective approach to teaching, with openness to feedback and continuous improvement

  • a commitment to collaborative planning and teaching

  • a passion for Visual Arts and Digital Design and a proven track record achieving successful outcomes with learners
  • experience in curriculum development and teaching Visual Arts in a PYP and bilingual environment is a distinct advantage

 

Qualifications:

  • a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university
  • recognised teaching status
  • diploma or specialised training in Visual Arts
