Physical Education Teacher

The International School of Monaco is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed teacher of Physical Education across the 7 – 18 age range but with a likely focus on Secondary aged students (including IGCSE PE). The school has the ambition to develop a world-class sports programme and to become a leading institution in this area.

This position includes the possibility of having the Head of Secondary PE responsibility.

The successful candidate will have expertise in delivering physical education curriculum to a high level across the age ranges. They will also have experience in supervising and supporting co curricular sporting events.

He/She will be able to motivate and engage students through an energetic passion for the subject and a commitment to excellent teaching and learning that is aligned to the ISM learning principles and values. The candidate will have high expectations of student learning and behaviour. The successful candidate will have:

  • experience in running extra-curricular activities and trips

  • practical experience in team sport will be important



  • a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university
  • recognized teaching status
  • previous experience in teaching P.E. in an international setting is advantageous
