Alumni Relations Coordinator & Archivist

The International School of Monaco is looking to appoint an Alumni Relations Coordinator & Archivist.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with former ISM students, fostering a vibrant and engaged alumni community, and supporting the institution’s strategic objectives through alumni engagement, events, and communications.
ISM and King’s College School, Wimbledon are “sister schools”, with day-to-day interaction taking place between staff and students at both schools and the sharing of outstanding practice in all areas. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for alumni enquiries
- Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni relations strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni across different year groups
- Plan and deliver alumni and fundraising events (galas, dinners, reunions, networking events, talks, etc.)
- Manage alumni communications, including newsletters, social media, and campaigns
- Maintain and update the alumni database and platform, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams (admissions, marketing, development) to support institutional goals
- Help the Admissions and Marketing department when necessary
- Identify and support opportunities for alumni involvement (mentoring, career talks, fundraising, partnerships)
- Track engagement metrics and report on alumni activities and impact
- Collect historical documents, photos, yearbooks, and artifacts related to the school.
- Preserve and protect items to maintain the school’s historical record.
- Provide access to staff, students, alumni, and researchers interested in school history.
- Digitize materials to safeguard history and facilitate sharing.
- Occasional evening or weekend work required for events
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university
- Proven experience in alumni relations, communications, events, or stakeholder engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Experience in organising events and managing projects
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Good IT skills, including CRM/database management
Desirable
- Be an ISM Alumnus/Alumna
- Experience in an educational environment
- Knowledge of fundraising and development activities
- Familiarity with alumni engagement platforms or CRM systems
- Experience in managing social media or digital communications
