On September 19th 2014, in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, the International School of Monaco celebrated its twentieth anniversary at a Fundraising Gala in the Salle des Etoiles in Monaco.
Eighteen students from Classes 10, 11 and 12 recently took part in the Model United Nations Conference at UNESCO in Paris, representing the countries of Estonia, Nepal and the Maldives.
ISM finished first in the schools category and eighth in the overall team category in this year’s “No Finish Line” charity event in Monaco.
Students are now very much enjoying the new sports grounds that were opened at the end of October. With a total area of 500 square metres, and set up for basketball, netball and other games, these new facilities directly in front of the school are a valuable addition to the space we already enjoy in Monaco Ville as well as the sports facilities that we share with other schools in the area. The funds for the new sports grounds were raised at the recent 20th Anniversary Gala and we are most grateful to those parents made generous donations for this very purpose, and to the Monegasque government who allocated to us the land.
