Reaching out at Christmas

Our special choir “ISM VOICES” was honoured to be invited to sing at the annual auction of Christmas trees in aid of Action Innocence, a Monaco based charity devoted to ensuring the safety of children and young people online.

Twenty-six young singers from Classes 5 to 8, led and conducted by Colette Marx-Nielsen, presented a beautiful medley of festive songs which greatly added to the ambiance of the evening.

37 beautifully decorated Christmas trees donated by different organisations, were then sold at auction, in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and raised a considerable sum for the charity.

Many of the same children also performed the previous week at A Quietüdine, the retirement home on the port where the residents much enjoyed their private concert, and are singing again with the Monaco Choir Belles at a fundraiser on December 16th in aid of Mothers of Africa and the Centre Maternel in Nice.
