Outdoor adventure programme is launched !

Benefitting from the wonderful surroundings of Monaco, over twenty students from Years 7-9 enjoyed a Wednesday afternoon session at the Plage Marquet in Cap d’Ail in late summer sunshine.

After an energetic round of beach volleyball, they cooled off in the water with kayaks and stand up paddle boards, coping well in the somewhat choppy conditions. Thanks to our sports teachers Eric, Laurent and Debbie for joining in and ensuring everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

This was a great start to our after school activity programme and a good ice breaker for the students.

The next afternoon adventure day will on September 4th with an excursion on the classic sailing yacht Santo Sospir. Led by the Science Department in association with S.O.S. Grande Bleue, at St Jean Cap Ferrat, students will be exploring our unique marine environment and hoping to catch sight of dolphins and moonfish which are frequently spotted in these waters.
