The International School of Monaco was delighted to host the 17th International Schools’ Speech Contest on Wednesday, January 28th.
The event brought together eight talented finalists from four participating schools — the International School of Nice, Mougins British International School, the Asecia Schools, and ISM — who delivered two compelling speeches on the themes “The Power of Language” and “Breathe.”
The contest was judged by three experienced judges, Ms Pauline Minnis, Mrs Karen Jones, and Mr Justin Fuller, who faced the challenging task of deciding the winners after listening to a series of insightful and imaginative speeches.
The evening was further enhanced by delicious food and a delightful musical performance by ISM primary pianist, Katarina, creating a truly memorable experience for all attendees. After much anticipation, the winners were announced: Manomi (ISM) took first place, Liv (Aseica) was awarded second place, and Nicole (ISM) achieved third place.
Congratulations to all students who participated for demonstrating such intelligence, creativity, and confidence in their presentations. The event celebrated the power of language and the incredible talent of young speakers from across international schools.
