The International School of Monaco is delighted to announce the return of its highly anticipated ISM Youth Piano Competition.
This event will take place on Saturday 30th May 2026 in the ISM auditorium at 43 Avenue Princesse Grace, Monaco.
Organised by ISM’s Performing Arts Department in collaboration with the ISM Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the competition provides an exceptional platform for young pianists aged 4 to 18 to showcase their talent, dedication, and passion for music. Rooted in Monaco’s rich cultural values of diversity, creativity, and excellence, the event aims to inspire artistic growth within a nurturing and world-class environment.
Open to students residing in Monaco and surrounding areas, the competition is more than a contest; it is a transformative musical experience. Participants benefit from professional adjudication, mentorship, and the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, supporting their development at every stage of their musical journey.
Competitors will be placed into six divisions based on age and experience:
- Youth Pianist: Foundation Level
- Youth Pianist: Elementary Level
- Emerging Pianist Division
- Developing Pianist Division
- Advanced Artist Division
- Concert Artist Division
Each category has been carefully designed to challenge and celebrate young musicians, encouraging resilience, creativity, and self-expression.
The ISM Youth Piano Competition also serves as a meaningful opportunity to build connections across cultures and communities, reflecting ISM’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians while contributing to Monaco’s vibrant cultural landscape.
