Additional Test Requirements for the UK and USA

For some UK Courses extra admissions tests may be required, which are mainly listed on this page. Please check the Entry Profiles for your chosen course(s) on www.ucas.com or if in doubt, contact your chosen universities and colleges or check their websites. These tests are taken in test centres local to Monaco, such as Aix-en-Provence for the TSA and Milan for the HAT.

BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT)
For entry to medicine and veterinary schools.

English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT)
For entry to English courses at the University of Oxford.

Graduate Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT)
For entry into medicine.

History Aptitude Test (HAT)
For entry to modern history and a joint honours degrees involving modern history at the University of Oxford.

The National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT)
For entry to law.

Modern and Medieval Languages Test (MML)
For entry to modern and medieval languages at the University of Cambridge.

Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) Admissions Test(TSA)
For entry to the philosophy, politics and economics courses in Oxford

For the USA the SAT I and often SAT II tests are required. These are taken at our local test centre The International School of Nice. More information about registration and dates can be found at:

Students whose mother tongue is not English will also be required to sit the TOEFL exam. Our local test centre for this is the International University of Monaco and more information can be found here:
